I'm from Israel and over here we get only the standard Impreza Turbo, so I'm asking you guys in England about the powerful versions.
Has anyone baught the new STI 6 and how does it compare with the older versions and the Evo?

I've got an STi 6. Compared to an STi 5, there are very few differences, although it remains to be seen if it will cope better with 97RON fuel than the STi 5.
I've also briefly driven an Evo 6, and for raw pace there's not much in it, the Evo feels marginally quicker but an STi 6 Type R would probably feel quicker still. The Evo's suspension is absolutely rock hard though and on a bumpy road the STi 6 is much happier.
The AYC on the Evo is awesome, but it's easier to get the Scoob's tail out.
Despite what some people say I don't think either car has as much steering feel as I'd like.
Any of them is bound to put a smile on your face. Buy a yellow STi 6 like me and it'll put a smile on everyone else's face too.
