Rally GB forum for venting our anger
#1
So, back from Rally GB or Rally South Wales or whatever... Is it worth setting up a forum where all those who went to the event can have a say. Then it could be sent to the organising bodies of this years event for their perusal!
What d'ya think?

how about the direction signs(or lack of them)to start with, spent ages driving around trying to find the stages and it looked like a few others to cars with parking passes going in all directions and everybody following anybody who looked like they knew where they were going!!! bloody nightmare!!

chaps
just a thought
depends what you want to do .if you want to moan to each other and compare notes fine, although there is a motorsport forum with plenty of comment in it.
if you want improvement on the rally of south wales or to change it e mail or write to the msa

Navigator,
I think its important not to bitch to each other (as most of these topics seem to degrade into that) but there are enough people and proper rally fans on this BBS to give the MSA,Network Q and Cardiff some serious thought for the future direction of this event. Would be interesting to know what rally newcomers have to say as well to get a broader view
So Moderators, how about setting one up ??
Cheers

i'm wondering if we all went to the same event. i had no problems finding any of the event pass 2 stages and as i recall, all had directions off the M4, signage on the main roads plus car park signage. the stage maps in the rally guide were fine.
granted, the transport arrangements for the saturday superspecial in cardiff were totally abysmal however ...

Had the best rally for years, had event pass 2, made every stage without any problems & we were in a 20ft long motorhome that would'nt go over 60!! Even got into resolven on the saturday morning for free!! Walked back to the car park after the superspecial only took 15 mins.
Saw marcus roll followed by the mitsi & the toyota, then watched burnsie park is peoguet at Margam.
Get a motorhome & mountain bikes its the way forward.
