On Ceefax this morning there is talk of moving rally G.B. to an earlier date in the year and to finish the rally season in Europe.
Bring out the sun tan oil
Cheers

From what I've read in recent press, I don't think this is going to be straight away.I think they were talking of at earliest 2004.(assuming they do it at all, and UK even keeps the event).

whilst july may be nice to watch in....very dusty if you are lucky.
There will be quite a hoo haa from walkers ,holiday makers ,forresters worried about fire risks etc.Wouldn't fancy taking on that lot.(god bless the msa give them something to do)
also pressure on accomadation will increase ie if you go to watch you may not get a b n b or cottage.
just a thought

If they move it to the 5th November, there'll be fireworks alright!

Sorry couldnt resist.

Heres hoping someone with a least half a brain looks into stretching the pens and trafic flow managment between stages etc.

Didnt go this year but am already thinking of next years -- if we get a round that is.

I think they should hold a tarmac stage set around the Bluewater shopping facility.

Unhappy

if they move it to mid year, fkin nightmare for traffic with all the holiday people already in that area!

Also, my accomodation i have used the last 2 years would go from £420 for a week to £1500 due to high season tariffs.

Nope, that will be a frigin nightmare.............So its probably going to happen sooner rather than later because DR has his head up his **** in terms of catering for the fans.

Cardiff has the rally for the next 4 years at least, it's now called the Wales Rally GB, i kid you not. NetworkQ is no more as an event sponsor.

Cool

Jon,

From your comments it seems that they'll have stopped the problems of overcrowding in one fell swoop. So no more stage cancellations, 'cos nobody'll be able to afford to go and watch!
