Anybody know where I can get any info on LRP.
My Pa in law keeps an immaculate 2.8i Capri for summer use and would be grateful for any info.
Cheers
Chip.

Hi chip, LRP is very bad news for the motorist IMHO.
There is no british standard for LRP in the UK, there have been many documented problems with running this, especially on high load engines or when towing.
I would suggest you father in law uses some unleaded 95RON fuel and use the millers VSP Plus additive, it costs £2.97 to treat 40 litres of fuel and has been tested at MIRA for the FBHVC. It replaces the lead with safe additives and takes the effective RON upto 97RON, same as the old 4 star.
cheers
