Got an Import? Know exactly what it is?

For any newbies and the less knowledgeable of us on here who would like to know a little more about the bloodline of our beloved Scoobs - check out the following site...
http://www.freenetpages.co.uk/hp/ken.ross/sti/wrx.html
There are many more sites, some in Japanese only that give specs for our import motors. The above site tells you how to identify your car. I found it by using my GC/GF VIN number and browsed the Net via Google.
Hope this is helpful to some of you on here.

PS. For anyone particularly interested in ECUs and remapping, PROVA's site is useful for identifying which ECUs were fitted to which models. Also you can identify exactly what MY your car is (not necessarily MY94 if year of manufacture was '94 - coul be MY95 if post september '94).
