Does anyone know the cause of the tailbacks on the M1 northbound tonight?

I was due to go up to Derby area to pick up my new P1 alloys for my MY97 but I joined the M1 at J16 and it took me 1 1/2 hours to get to J18 !!

I got so fed up and couldn't be bothered to creap all the way up to 23a that I came home, defeated

Yeah it was a lorry turned over just before Junction 19 - queue was about 8/9 miles long when I was heading back about 4:30, fortunately I was heading southbound (get off at junc 16). Same thing this morning, 5 mile queue in the South direction when I'm heading North. Good choice turning round Matt!
