2 Important Questions!!!
#1
1. Is it possible to transport 3 kids safely and comfortably in the back seat (ie with child seats) of a MY99 Wagon?
2. If not, when child 3 arrives, I'll have to sell the wagon and buy something bigger. So, any recommendations? A Legacy Sti would be nice, but I suppose I might have to sell my soul and go for a 5-series Beemer (oh no!). People carriers or Volvos are not even being considered!!!
I'd be grateful to hear if anyone does manage with 3 kids in a wagon - it would help to convince my wife that we don't really need a bigger car!!!
Cheers

I have a wagon and have one kid and another on the way, but have had my little girl in her 9month to 4years chair on one side and her cousin in another 9month to 4years seat on the other side and an adult in the middle and they were okay.. not much different to three adults in the back.. the adult in the middle was short on space but okay.. the kids had plenty of room.. also have two adults either side and the child seat in the middle with no problems... you could deactivate the front passenger air bag and fit one of the kids seats in the front and then your wife could go imbetween the two in the front. But I would think you should fit the three seats across the back.. I assume the seat will fit okay on the lump in the middle.. as my interior is different..
I have the old old interior and remove the passenger head reat so it makes it less enclosed..
To deactivate the airbag.. disconnect the battery for a couple of hours to let the capacitors lose there stored power.. remove the glove box past of the dashboard and remove the plug to the airbag.. airbag light should then be activated on the dashboard..
I have only read about that and not done it myself.. I should add.

With one baby seat in the back at the weekend..
a Britax Eclipse I was looking and not totally sure if you would fit three of them across the back or not...
Do you have two seats in there at the moment?
have you measured the gap to see if three would fit?
The Legacy STi if they do a wagon looks superb..
