Thanks for the web address John, one more question please what do you use to transfer and edit the footage, you seem to get good quality and file sizes for the running time.
I am looking to purchase some editing software myself but am a bit confused and would appreciate advice from someone actually using a product.

Camera i use is a JVC GR-DVL166EK mini DV camcorder, it's mounted to the back window using a suction mount SM1 from here http://www.b-hague.co.uk/Mounting%20Brackets.htm
the light you see coming on is the intercooler water spray low level warning light, the other light is the centre diff position indicator. (set to fully to the rear)

John,
The slower server really is slower - I'm using a 2MB connection at the mo and getting about 8K/sec It'll have taken about an hour to download in the end.....I'm sure it'll be worth it though...

At least the rest of the time I managed to reserve myself to "way hay" - which is a little less embarrassing - at least we can't hear you screaming Sal - John must have carried out some clever audio wizzardary during the edit process

Saturday was all about being a loon in safe suroundings John, you cant get away with that at places like the ring, so i made the most of it.
Sal was pretty good actually, there was plenty of muttering to herself at times but i thought she was very composed. Last time out on track she went with Stef and he scared the crap out of her.
Glad you enjoyed the ride matt, you didnt bother me at all jabering away in my left ear.
I have lost one of my Mini DV tapes from the day, so if anyone picked one up, it's mine!
