i've only recently become a scooby owner having bought an imported wrx.when driving at night i have difficulty seeing the dials clearly. they seem very dull, but i can see no sign of a dimmer switch.is there one, if so where is it hidden. if not whats the usual remedy for this problem?

Welcome, no dimmer switch I'm afraid. You can change the bulbs though. Various goodie shops are doing coloured-dash bulbs. Otherwise what about a set of white-dials?
Where in the country are you? Scoobymania or TSL in Nottingham should be able to help you.
