I was wondering who would be in the top 10 for the following awards for 2002:

a) The Big Poster Award - largest number of posts;
b) The Funny Award - most amusing poster;
c) Non-scooby Tosser Award - most persistent non-scooby poster;
d) The Flame Thrower Award - best flame-war posting;
e) The Scooby Professor Award- most informative post in 2002;
f) The Saxo Award - biggest plonker award (most stupid question);
g) The Blood Sport award - largest animal road-kill (total number and/or largest mammal (or reptile);
h) The Police Special Award - most points gained/biggest ban or fine, most arrests.
i) The McCrash Award - best write-off posting.

I await your nominations with interest!

Si

The Quentin Wilson Award - the most persistent car celler award - has to go to the man with the RB5 (or is it and RB5 - Oh nooooooo.....).

How about the award for the most persecuted scoobynet member who hasn't had a fault claim in 6 years, on average gets 280 miles from a tank of optimax in a decat MY99, who hasn't been pulled in the scooby and doesn't/hasn't ever had points or convictions yet still puts up with this **** day in day out!!!! Oh, and has a respectable (yet ****) job and doesn't wear caps, have big 'wake the neighbors subs' or go cruising every weekend with Saxo's, Nova's, Corsa's, etc

I'm a human being and have feelings, please don't forget that

The Saxo Award is not directed at any individual!
We could call it "The Nova Award" instead.

Do disrespect to SaxoBoy.

a) The Big Poster Award - largest number of posts;
Gotta be Andy Tang AKA Tarty! Racked up an impressive 10000 posts in a remarkably short amount of time
b) The Funny Award - most amusing poster;
Billbill still has this. His ability to monologue with himself is amusing and impressive. all the more impressive when you consider he is 83 years old.
c) Non-scooby Tosser Award - most persistent non-scooby poster;
I think that would be a throw up between PS lewis and me. I do tons or rave oriented posts every week which no-one EVER reads and even fewer people reply to. I thank you.
However, an honerable mention to pete for his one man campaign via the non scooby board against the entire fire brigade.
d) The Flame Thrower Award - best flame-war posting;
Co55ie. Pugnacious is an understatement. Tenacious, but pugnacious all the same.
e) The Scooby Professor Award- most informative post in 2002;
Felstead!!!!!!
f) The Saxo Award - biggest plonker award (most stupid question);
Can I rename this the IMATRUCKAS award?
g) The Blood Sport award - largest animal road-kill (total number and/or largest mammal (or reptile);
One word. STAMPEDE!!!! not many people can claim to have killed a cow with their car.
h) The Police Special Award - most points gained/biggest ban or fine, most arrests.
*sucks teeth* not sure.
i) The McCrash Award - best write-off posting.
Dunno
Hows that?

I'm a bigger girls blouse so you'd be alright

Yeah, I crashed within my first year of driving (damn, I'm just another stat!). Was on a single track road with heavy bushes, etc obscuring the view. Me and the other driver were going faster than the distance we could see and stop and had the option of hitting a rock face, crashing down an embankment into a loch or hitting each other. Was a 50:50 claim and the insurance excess was a pig because of my age....glad it was just a 1.3 Polo and not loaded even more for being a performance car!

a) The Big Poster Award - largest number of posts;
Andy Tang or his alter ego Tarty! 10,000 posts in a month - thankfully employed in a position that restricts his posting activities!
b) The Funny Award - most amusing poster;
Billbill. Monologues and thought provoking post with humour, 83 still kicking and showing us how it should be done!
c) Non-scooby Tosser Award - most persistent non-scooby poster;
Claudius or Chip-Butty
d) The Flame Thrower Award - best flame-war posting;
Co55ie, biggest Troll of all time (or PSLeis with his thoughts on fire fighters
e) The Scooby Professor Award- most informative post in 2002;
Felstead or David Lewis
f) The Saxo Award - biggest plonker award (most stupid question);
Doesn't the title give it away? So what is fuel surge anyway?
g) The Blood Sport award - largest animal road-kill (total number and/or largest mammal (or reptile);
DrEvil go a hare but POC got a deer. The hare didn't survive but the deer did. Only animal hits I can remember.
h) The Police Special Award - most points gained/biggest ban or fine, most arrests.
-- no idea --
i) The McCrash Award - best write-off posting.
DaveT-S... he may not have crashed (nor do I wish it on anyone) but he does have a thought on each crash!
