I would recommend the Dawes device boost controller to anyone wanting increased Turbo performance. I purchased one from JW racing over the weekend and Jamie installed and set the thing up for a small charge. This has made sure it is set up correctly (Not overboosting and not running too lean)

The car pulls a lot harder from lower revs and is running at 17 psi

Go to Jamie at JW racing! He will do the biz.

A bit of a sweeping statement that

Dawes are great, but know its limits and the car's limits. It's a great mod, but not for everyone.

Saying that, I run one (supplied by JW as I believe he's got UK exclusive distribution rights) and am happy with it. Just know what it does, and what effect it has on the rest of your car

Agreed. That is why I have recommended getting it fitted by someone who understands them and has the equipment to assist. A friend had a crude bleed device fitted to his RB5 and swapped it for the Dawes on Saturday. He feels the car is less powerful now but he is happy that it is set up correctly and has less chance of damaging the engine.

His prior device was based on guesswork and although it gave a lot of power it could have been a disaster.
