Hi every one.

Having just purchased my first Impreza i would like to introduce myself.

I have just purchased a 2002 WRX STI Prodrive UK version.
I havent picked it up yet but i cannot wait.

Has anyone got the same version and could they confirm how good they are (i know they are the dogs).

First of all i am going to fit a Apexi Rev Speed Meter? Would any of you advise this?
Also i am going to tint the windows (mainly for security purposes).

I am sure you will see a lot of me on here now.

Nick

Thumbs up

Welcome

Sure you'll enjoy the car as long as you don't read too many threads like this one

I think the thread above, is the first very -ve thread i've read about the STI-7.

It will be fast, it will grip and it does need treating with respect. People talk about a lack of low down power, and it does seem to lag until 3500Rpm. However, by careful gear selection, it's easily driven around and when you get used to it increases the fun of the car.

Enjoy it, and ignore the few nay sayers. Pretty much anyone with an open mind who's driven the car thinks it's a stunning bit of kit
