not sure why there's a rash of 'hate my scooby' threads (maybe it's pre-Xmas blues) ..... but I've had my '94 Jap import WRX now for 18 months, done 30,000kms (only live 3kms from work, so that's 90% driving for fun) and it hasn't missed a beat.
Like today (Saturday) - had a gross week at work, so fill up the tank with 98 octane and head for the country - drive thru heavy rain, overtake trucks, out-pace cars, whistle up hills (that's the turbo cutting in), drift round corners on the gravel roads and end up - six hours later - with a smile on my face and ready for a relaxing Sunday.
Never had a car like it .....
love it to bits.

Ain't that the truth !
Shut yer yap you lot. Get out and drive your wonderful cars instead of sitting in front of a computer screen. Miserable *****.
I'll get me coat...there's a scooby with my name on it waiting to be driven.

Count me in. Sti3 wagon for three and a half years, 30,000 miles and it's never missed a beat - despite being driven enthusiasticlly every time. The grin factor is still there. Beats me what all the whinging is about - learn to enjoy yourselves guys.

I too am sick to death with the 'I hate' posts.
3 years of ownership and I still love it.
I drove an EVO Vi and preferred the scoob (99 unmodified), drove a P1 and couldn't justify the trade in.
Probably going to keep it now until the chassis rusts to nothing.

Yep I had a good look at an EVO7 (best car in the world ever LOL) a few months back and didnt like it, good car just didnt get on with it, no soul .
Currently on my second classic and enjoy the car more now than the day I picked it up two years ago. Been a few times when I decided to let it go but sanity prevailed. It will take a lot for me to sell it. Its like one of the family now .
