Mornin boys & girls
Just been to the vets this morning as the cat is poorley again which will cost another 100quid (Could have been put towards an air filter or something for the scoob)
Anyway while I was in there waiting for it to be repaired (and thats another story) I picked up the jan 2003 top gear mag and read the article on the sti8. Sounded really good until they mentioned the same old story about euro emission regs c**P and that the UK car won't be as good.
The other thing that is missing for the UK car is the switch which allows you to manually adjust the front and rear diff balance. Why do they remove the good bits for uk cars ??
Similar to the rear wiper which is available only on imports or P1. Surely this would be something worth having in the UK??
Why do they do it??

Because UK drivers are not inteligent enough to understand a diff that you have to manually adjust depending on conditions or speed.
The Japanese on the other hand, they are well known for being ultra inteligent when it comes to attention to detail, so can cope with the concept that to get the best out of a car, you may have to think a litle and apply some knowledge gained via an owners manual and experience.

afraid they can't use that excuse Jon as it has a nice Automatic button too
Maybe we suffer from the same condition that stops the Yanks getting the Active diffs on the Evo 8
