Question

Can someone give some advise on how to get your picture size below 100kb as turbosport won't upload any bigger pics, some of mine are 350kb how do you get them smaller ?

You need to reduce the image size or quality using a paint package eg paint shop pro.

Cheers Chrisp, but how do you reduce them in size, would it be better to take the pics in a poorer quality on digi-cam and not on best quality, would e-mail quality be good enough.

Cheers, James.

What camera and picture quality does everyone else use to keep down file size.

If you have Windows XP you can get an 'XP PowerToy' called the 'Image Resizer' all you then do is right click the image and choose resize picture.

As for the size of the image I tend to stick to 640 x 480 for any images that I post on the BBS. If you would like teh images resized feel free to mail them over to me.

Just done a quick search on the web and found this:-

Give that a try and see how well it works.

Just right click on the image it will then have an option 'Resize Picture' choose the size you wish to make it, and click OK
