Cool

I have found a slight scratch on the roof of my STI-V Type RA and want to sort it out as its about the only mark on the whole car, apart from 2 or 3 very small stone chips (only about 2mm big, can see white underneath)

Would it be a good idea to use some Colour Magic or similar product to 'fill it in'?
Is there a close colour to the Sonic Blue available, and has anyone tried this before?

Any replies greatly appreciated.

(My god is that the time...my bed is calling!)

Cheers
Mark...

Halfords? do a Chip Kit which is a bit like a lip stick that you rub across the scratch to fill it in and then polish it up, dont know about colour mathes though,

Use Chips Away, they come to you and are magic, lots of local dealers for them also.

Ok, cheers chaps.

I dont think there will be a Chips Away over here, but I did spot something along the lines of the 'lipstick' thing in my local motoring supplies shop today. so I'll try that.
Just one thing, there was a light blue and a dark blue one, which one should I go for so you reckon?

Cool

Another STi5 RA owner

What number u got, I'm 950

Have you tried Wax Wizard, Mark has posted on here a few weeks back with his phone number, if you do a search you'll find it. I'm sure he'll have something that will remove the scratch if its not too deep.

Cheers

John

I used Colour magic on my UK300 I used to own and it came with a crayon aswell for touching in big scratches. It says to get a darker colour polish than your car, but don't get a lighter or the same colour and it should bed in lovely. The darker one I could spot but did look alot better than white underneath.

DO NOT USE COLOUR MAGIC.......It can tint the colour of the paint so if you do have a knock its hard to match the paint back up agian, just go and get it done properly.
If you are looking for the best wax to use try ZYMOL, not cheap but by far the best

Colour magic lipstick things are a load of ****. Will not match up, all it is, is a kids crayon and it costs about 6 quid. Don't bother!
