Thumbs down

This is a long running Saga: I suspect it ain't over yet. Will all peeps who've been involved in previous threads, or have the problem please head over to 'Suspension' and read/respond there?

Moderators - please leave and allow a couple of btts when the working week starts, as it's a widespread problem..
TIA
Phil

Had it, mostly resolved by a strut replacement about a month ago now. Did take nearly two months from being diagnosed by someone from subaru technical to replacement strut arriving to be fitted.

I'm much happier with the car now, though I still do occasionally hear something from the NSR, but nothing like before.

Phil

Does it come from the rear struts ?

If so, I've had the problem for 8 months and still not sorted.

Particularly bad at a reasonable speed on a poor road surface.

I haven't noticed anything with mine. Is the rattle really noticeable and does it feel different when driving? you've got me a bit paranoid now.

Phil,

I've been told you'll know if you've got the problem!!!!

Arron,

Are you not going to get your money back rather than wait for a repair?

5903 - Thats it: though almost everyone who's had it has had NSR problem only. Bad surfaces, at Slow speed, worse if the suspension is under lateral pressure from cornering.

Some new cases here I'll write to Technical Director Subaru-UK tomorrow.

Probably bets to keep this on the suspension board chaps, goes out of date less quickly and irritates the Mods less - though this is a complaint issue, rather than an anorak discussion

Cheers

Phil
