Hi Guys. I have just got my self a standard 00 model turbo and I'm starting the long process of doing it up but I accidentally knocked the front number plate off last night and I can't seem to get it off. Can anyone help me out?
Cheers

The number plate appears to have a screw with a nut at the back of the plate. The head of the screw on one side sheared off and the number plate is hanging on one screw. I managed to get the nut off the broken side but i can't seem to get the stub of the screw out and the good screw won't come out either. It just seems to twist and then spring back.

They are rubber/plastic screws, which are a pain TBH.
I just cut the heads off completely, drill out the plastic stup that is left in, use a drill bit that is approx half the size of the screw.
Then you can either get some new screws (as above) from your garage, they should give you a handfull free, remember to get a few white and a few black, just in case.
Due to the number of times i did this, it drove me mad, so in the end, all i did was sit the number plate a bit higher up and use a self tapping screw directly into the plastic mounting bracket. You just need some plastic caps for the screws, again the garage should give you some FOC, black and white required.
Hope that helps

Thanks Gents. I will give it a bash. By the way, where is the best place to get clear indicators. I stay in the Falkirk area just incase anyone else is from these parts.
