Imagine you have 2 sets of gold wheels (original 16'' Subaru ones) and another Impreza driver desperately want gold wheels for some reason (hopefully pslewis doesn't read this).
Now you tell him that you're ok to give him one of your sets of gold wheels in exchange for his silver ones.

Now, 2 years later that guy (with your gold wheels) buys a set of 17'' Sleggeras in gold and swaps the orginial gold Subaru wheels for another set of Subaru silver wheels (with one of his mates) but asks an additional payment of approx 250 Euro...which he also gets

Would you think :

a) good for him at least he was more clever and made a deal with the gold wheels, unlike me who just swapped them like this
a1) maybe I should more watch the whole subaru thing and be aware that gold wheels are a looked after item
b) wouldn't care or
c) would walk up to this guy telling him that this was a dirty ''backstabbing'' move for making money behind your back

the other guy was lucky/shrewd enuff to make a deal on his sale of thewheels.

if it annoys u that much and have to get it off ur chest then say something but if it was me u came up to i'd just say, 'wot the F***'s it got 2 do with u"

Personally it wouldnt bother me at all, you did the original deal and were quite happy then, he was lucky and managed to get another deal which involved selling now his property at a good price, these things happen, dont get hung up over it, we've all been there.

an item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. if you sell something and some time down the line it gets sold for more then thats just business im affraid.

Thanks for all your tips, well then let me tell you all that I am actually the guy who got his gold wheels for my silver wheels, bought a set of S'Leggeras 1 year later and swapped the Subaru gold again for silver ones plus 250 euro from another Impreza driver.
Now this other guy who gave me his gold wheels, works for the same company as I and came up my desk this morning (keep in mind that this deal was done more than 1 1/2 year ago) telling what a to$$er I am for making money behind his back.

Sorry for twisting the story, but I just wanted to place you people in this other guy's shoes....but I feel better now, I really felt having done something evil....

Yup chill man, when it comes to people that ruin this board, I'm probably just one in a loooong waiting list.
Other than that, read my other post and find out that this actually happened to me, being told ''Shame on you for making money behind my back with my gold wheels'' although he gave them to me almost 2 years ago for my silver wheels.....

Well, he didn't say that he wants cash, just upset that I made money behind his back with ''his'' wheels, whereas he simply swapped the gold for my silver just like that....
Reason being that he saw my car on the parking lot this morning with the 16'' silver's on winter tyres...

Have to say that I was quite surprised about his argument and didn't really know what to answer (Surprised means surprised that somebody dares coming up with something like this...)
I thought it's just plain ridiculous
