Anyone else off the baord going? I've put my name down for the morning session at Brands Hatch (Silverstone has already sold out) on Feb 14th. It's a long drive from Lancashire but still sounds a bargain with instruction and track time for £50.
As it's such a long way I'm going to stay over the night before - anyone got any hotel recommendations (fairly cheap!)
Cheers,
Steve

Cheers Mr Eric, saved me looking on the web
Edcase - EVO Active are running some half-day trackdays for virgins like me, includes a lecture, laps with an instructor and laps on your own, for £50. Tracks are Silverstone (sold out), Brands (14 Feb) and Snetterton. It's mentioned in the current edition, I'll look up the phone number if I remember.

Aye, certainly did! Doing an epic commute in Bradford everyday (very icy this morning on the moors ) but loving the new house, lovely quiet spot.
Kept an eye out for you, not seen you yet (is your MR2 dk green? Or am I behind the times?)
Noticed a few scoobs about, even got stopped in a car park for my opinon by a guy who was about to buy one - no one waves though !
Cheers,
Steve

Steve - yep, MR2 is dark green, with DW sticker in the back - M reg. Dont venture that way much though unless we are going shopping to Leeds, then tend to go past you, and on towards Silsden etc.
Which way are you going for Bradford? My missus used to do that commute everyday, and found that the road towards Howarth was fairly quick (and enjoyable).

Will keep eyes peeled!
I go over the moor to Haworth too, it's a fun road, a bit too much fun when icy/foggy maybe, plus there's a lot of near misses with people cutting corners on tight non-sighted bends. Still, it's better than the slog through Bingley.
Steve.
