Well...

Got a NIP from South Wales Police the other week. My car got camera'ed going to the shakedown, just like 40 other apparently...

Anyway, I've requested a photo and got another 4 weeks grace on the declaration. Will ask for a copy of the calibration etc...

BUT...

On the way back past in the afternoon, we stopped and chatted to the guy doing the afternoon shift. During the chat, he said it was SWP Policy to have warning signs out and the rear window open when nicking people, yet all six of us (2 cars) swear that the window was shut and no signs were out.

Person at the camera unit has spoken to the officer, yet he said the window was open. Whoever I 'discover' was driving, I don't want to take it to court on that technicality as it's our word vs the copper and we all know which way those sorts of decisions go...

Don't expect anything constructive.. just sounding off really...

Any ideas?

 

There's tons of thread been on here on how to get out of NIP etc.

Follow one of them but make sure you ask for each piece of evidence one at a time and not together

The cops certainly get boring after a time.

Were you much over ? and were there many people around to injure other than yourself ?
