No real advice about the cost. Just a few general things.
Get some insurance quotes before you buy. Insurance has gone up dramatically recently. Also Subaru authorised dealers will not service your WRX as its a grey import as they are not allowed by Subaru UK. So you need to find a specialist. If you post your location "roughly" I am sure someone will point you to a specialist.
A friend of mine was going to deal with MVI services and seem to have a big turnover of stock.
cheers

Sounds very cheap.
How old is it?
Is the mileage reliable?
Service history?
The Japanese don't tend to keep their cars long (2-3 years max) and because of this may not look after them too well. Some of these dodgy cars end up in this country as cheap imports, so be careful.

As you're a bird be very carefull, a lot of these cowboys will try and (excuse the expression) Shaft You.. Make sure you get a bloke to check the car over before you make the final descion!! Shouldn't you go for a Fiesta 1.1 or something... LOL

One key area to check over....the upper face of the rear bumper could have numerous paint repairs on the outside chance that the previous owner was also a lady....and the shopping bags just weren't lifted high enough...Any guy will spot this.

good luck with the wrx - BTW don't put Rob on the insurance, just Ollie and Jazz - it should lower the premiums.

sourob, well done for taking that how it was meant. Its refreshing to see some humour on the board, people not taking life too seriously isn't it Oz???
Good luck with the car sourob, look forward to meeting you at some of the events..

Hmmm.....Mr Phill Rick (aka R.Sole).
I do wish I had such a wonderfully developed sense of humour as you but, I'm afraid I will never scale the dizzy heights of your comedic talent....
And, if anyone is unclear as to the comic genius now in our midst, please take a moment to peruse RoShambo's thread 'the lord giveth & he taketh away' for a sterling example....

Oz or should I call you Mr T. Wat, I've laughed more at using the withdrawl method on your mum than I have at your sad attitude, you need to get out and realise there is a life out there. Sticking up for women on your little board is not going to get one armed jack wet is it..

You weren't 'making a fool of me', all you were doing was displaying what a complete **** you are. Well done for keeping quiet though, though I wish your mum had kept it quiet about the milkman.

This is outrageous! This type of comment is irresponsible. What it should say is 'Women should be banned from driving'
