The Recaro's are cool, but IMHO not really suitable for a 9 month old kid. I put mine in Britax seats up to about 2 1/2 years then up to the Recaros.
The Recaro just uses the lap & diagonal belt of the car so is more like a booster seat. They are very adjustable though and will apparently last up to the kids being 12 years old.
My kids are 6 & 4 and love them - makes their friends in little plastic booster seats seem very vunerable indeed.
They look the dogs in the Scoob as well![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

We use a Britax eclipse, which fits in our MY02 ok. Our boy is 18 months old and seems to like it.
We paid about £70 which is good value. The Recaro's are considerably more expensive.
Kiddicare.com have them on sale at the moment.
Also if you travel by aircraft long distance you can use it on the plane which works well. We used it on an 11 hour flight to LA & it was excellent as you could keep him in his seat.

Hi Martin, how's tricks mate?![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Did you notice the Mimosa yellow bucket seat I have for my daughter?
You can have that if you want as she prefers sitting on a booster now.
Suitable for ages 9-48months, 5pt harness and IMO, the coolest lookin kid seat going![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
