God did i have a great race yesterday!!!!!!!!!!

Coming back home with a pal in the car i saw an Evo a little way ahead.. i thought it would be nice to have a play before i head indoors and sped up a bit to catch him up..
As we both pulled off of the dual carridgeway up the slip road he must have seen me in his rear view mirror and swerved from lane to lane... Just warming up his tyres of course
So thinking that this was an offer to race i had to oblidge

We both were level as we touched the round about and he launched off towards the dual carridgeway.. so, being the gentleman i am i followed him and managed to catch him up, whilst keeping a couple of car lengths behind him we soon got into double figures..

The dual carridgeway soon ended and the roundabout ahead got closer so we both slowed down and went straight over the roundabout, on joining the other part of the dual carridgeway i took the opportunity to overtake him until we both had to slow down for the traffic lights ahead.....

When we both got to the lights the driver opened his window and said to me " what the f*ck have you done to that" to which i replied "a few bits", he then chuckled and said "yeah right, that is f*ckin fast".
The lights then changed and he said "see ya later" and we both went seperate ways...

What a top race, what a top evo driver... i thought i was gonna get some abuse from him when he pulled up next to me...

So.. Mr trick looking EVO VI Makkinen.. Quality race mate!!

Sorry - can't take much notice of this..... at the moment, I'm still trying to decide whether to take any legal action on this racing on the highway, or if I should be out looking in people's living room windows in case a burglar is about to stick the video up his shirt

I know I'm on my day off, but I've got to keep up the ACAB tradition!

Not getting on at you for it but you did one thing that I don't do/haven't done:
Like most peeps I'll sometimes play if the opportunity presents it to me but I'd feel like a total spaz if I sped up just to bait someone into a race.

But then shy bairns get nowt and where you got to have some fun I'd have missed out

Don't know tweenie.....they just sort of happen. I find more often than not its when you come off a dualled roundabout side by side with another vehicle. I start to punch her up to speed in 2nd and you see the other car nail it...then your off! Very often if the road is clear I'll decide I'm going to open the car up (cause I don't often get the chance) and sometimes you're aware someone else is trying to keep up or if they fly past you know someone is spanking you

I've never been at a set of lights reving my engine and I've never had someone rev their engine trying to bait me. There have been times when I've been sat at lights next to a performance car and I'm trying to second-guess if they'll go for it. I'd hate to shoot of on my own from light as you'd just look like a prat.

IMO it must always be fun! The second it become serious or about who is ahead by the next lights or roundabout is where silly risks are taken and people get hurt.

This sucks, all this car talk and having just watched that rasta guy chuck a scooby around on a track makes me want to drive!! Tempted to nip down the road to strathy to see the neds
