MY99/00 Prices
#1
Can anyone tell me the going rate for a MY99/00 Impreza Turbo with 20 or 30k on the clock. Or if youve just sold one, how much you got for it and it's spec. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Traded my MY99 UK turbo with 52k on the clock (no mods) last month against a 10 month old Alfa 156 Veloce 2.0 Sportwagon.
Sticker price for the Alfa was £13,999. The final deal was £10,500 for the Scooby and £12,500 for the Alfa (or £11,999 for the Scooby if you don't take anything off the Alfa).
Richard.

3 weeks ago i paid £15,500 for a 2001 'y' reg classic, it was 1st registered march 2001 so it was one of the last classics,
i bought it from a subaru dealer who have serviced it from new, it has done 29.000 miles(slightly high) but its immacculate with prodrive ; wheels, front/rear spoilers and back-box.
i probably paid higher than the average but from a main dealer and well looked after i got the car that i want...

I sold my MY00 for 12.8k. It had 14.5k miles on the clock and had about 2k worth of bits on, but they really don't count for much when selling on. If you have extras on the car, you'd probs be better selling them on privately.

Thanks for all the replies guys, just what I was after.
Now all ive got to do is find the right car for me, DGM, DBM or reddish-blue / sonic blue (if they made them in these two colours for 99/00 models???). I would really like to find an un-modified example maybe sports exhaust fitted, and one local to me (Sandhurst) that has just had its first cambelt change.
My budget will be 10-12k so hopefully I will find one soon!!!

'99 model year had no reddish blue or sonic blue from UK dealers, though sonic blue was available by import, though the spec would differ slightly from the UK models. Don't know much about '00 year, dark blue mica was replaced by deep blue mica, iirc.

I believe I managed to get the last 4-door classic saloon. I had to travel to get it. DGM, registered 1st July 2001. Still standard (except air con, light protectors, mats and 6-CD exchanger!). Just keep thinking about the PPP - hmmmm!

Bottom has fallen right out of the market for MY00's.
Mine was a minted MY00, highly modded (Sept 2000, so the very last of the classics before the Y plated WRXs came along)
Managed to shift mine, but it took a long time and I dropped the original price considerably to do it.
You'll be contending with MY01's, so price sensibly.

that car wasnt a misprint as i phoned about it. It had gone though, and hadnt been on there more than a day. I expect something was amiss tho. I'd expect 11-12k for that...
