Hi all scooby's
I own a my98 turbo wagon with 95k on the the clock, The car has a full history upto 90k.
It had some major work done at 74k.
4 x pistons
timing belt & and all the gaskets and bits and bobs that go with the strip-down.
She runs very well and i'v had no problems thus far, BUT !!, This chick ain't getting any younger at 96k should i be loking to trade my girl in for a younger model ?
Or should i keep her and love her a bit more, And hope she never lets me down.
Truthfully what is your HONEST opinion ????
cheers chris

Almost in exactly the same position as yourself and with the work I've coughed up for (gearbox) and the high mileage, it really doesn't make much sense to sell it for peanuts
Mine is 100% condition so I think I'll just hang on and enjoy. If the engine blows (undoubtedly) then I'll just pay the few grand for a new one rather than pi55 money away on another hefty whack of depreciation
That's my thoughts
