I am just about to purchase my first Scooby (2nd Hand) but it doesn't have A/C as standard. Does anyone here know how much it costs to retro fit and can it be done DIY?

Thanks in advance.

i did it to my my00 pretty straight forward as long as you have all the equipment

if you get the equipment second hand make sure you get the switch as that costs £35 on its own

if you want more detailed advice give us an e mail

it can be retro fitted at any dealer on the classic shape.

my dealer arranged mine when i bought my MY00 a couple years ago.

at the time was £995. not sure if the same now ?

iirc its never fitted until the cars reach the uk as its actually fitted by a 3rd party company and not Subaru UK people anyway?

Thumbs up

Thanks for the help. I wouldn't mind trying to do it myself but not sure if it'll be more trouble than it's worth.
