One of my colleagues is looking to import a Ford from the continent, and has a good quote from a company called AVI Assisted Vehicle Imports Ltd in Warrington. Has anybody dealt with this company or heard anything about them at all? Any info at all would be gratefully received.

Be careful with import agents, some have been known to rake in many deposites, then go in to liquidation.

I would recommend dealing direct with a dutch or belgian main agent, it's very easy and cheaper and safer.

My mum has just ordered a Focus from Garage Delta at Ostend ( if I remember right ) and saved about £5000 , as easy as falling off a ferry don't bother with agents , it's not worth the risk
