I know the SIDC is looking at regionalising things, but there seems to be enough of us in Northants to sort ourselves out. I know of five, incuding mine, in Rushden alone; Dave from Toyo: Stef's in there too.
I used to be a member of the Porsche Club, but due to the snobbery and "oh it's not a 911" attitude I left, still got the Porsche though They used to meet at the Red Lion at Brafield on the Green once a month. Perhaps we could get something going.
Any ideas anyone?

I'm actually in the process of arranging a meet in Northants soon, but will wait until after Donington.
Had a great blast last night with a couple of mates between Bedford/N'pton. Magic!!

been off line with pc problems just lately,trying to catch up on a few bits and just spotted this thread.i'm up for a meet every now and then,i shall be at pod on the 20th so maybe we can meet up there and discuuss things,i'm in the wollaston area with a 00 mica red.do any of you guys in our area have a magnex 6*4 oval as i would like to hear one before buying as i've heard there v loud and dont want to deafen the little uns in the back.

 

I'm in Northampton as well but I won't be at "the pod" so I'll keep an eye on this thread for more news.

I'm currently reccing a route for a nice Sunday drive, taking in the B645 et al.
I'll wait until after The Pod/Donno, so we can gauge interest.
My plan is to meet somewhere Sunday moring, do the usual 'bonnet-up' baloney, then do a swift but safe drive along some great roads, stopping occasionally for refreshments and perhaps lunch.
What do you think?

We had a couple of meets in Northampton last year and got a good turn out. I organised the first one with Paul Needham, then he and Howard Banks sorted out the second one.

stef ,steve do you really want to latch on to that convoy? what about getting off at the next junction for earls barton,grendon crossing over the 45, meeting in the picnic place on the double bends and then giving it some to grendon,wollaston and then pod,a few bends on this route-just a suggestion not bothered either way or stef you get at the front of convoy and let the fun begin.

been offline with pc probs but ok ish now,i hope,god its been busy since sunday,the pics are pretty good-they look like proper rally cars although mine is showing the cleaner side,got some finger pointing on the way home!!

good to see you both and thanks for making me feel welcome as a scooby newboy.

i enjoyed the blast at dinner and have some good video that stupots mate took ,the incar noise of the engine,wastegate and bov sounds pretty cool.i'll try and see what i need to get the vid on the net.

i will try to spectate at donno with wife and little uns if i can change prior engagement.

may run my motor in the near future after some mods,could be in march may also run tr7 v8 that myself and a mate bought for quick profit its awesome in a straight line,doesn't like corners though.
