i cant stand running cars in, so i made an adventure of it. Took the day off work and drove from manchester to john o groats and back in a snowstorm nonstop, taking a route right over the top of scotland. (OK i got 3 hours kip).
I posted a thread on here, it was quite a novel.

jeez
I just worked out approx fuel costs for my 2yrs 9mths with my first scoob
erm 20 grand in fuel !!!! i think,
I based it on approx 25mpg, that equals
5000 Gallons
10 Gallons in a tank
500 Tanks of Petrol
40 quid a tank
All i can say is im glad I didnt pay for the fuel !!

it didnt matter in mine, as it was a company car![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
oh and with all those miles, in under 3years, and thrashed just about everytime it was driven
the only thing that ever went wrong was the clutch, and that was done under warranty, went through two sets of tyres too
definatly got my companies moneys worth out of it
edited to say 'John did you enjoy it that much, or did u just want to get the run in period over and done with
'
