I hope this won't make you spit your cornflakes out in shock. Brace yourself, I've just read on Teletext that the government is proposing to introduce additional driver training for company car drivers.

Apprarently the training will be similar to the IAM course.

A few clouds on the horizon though.
1. It's only for company car drivers not the general populace. I was going to insert a story about a Red Micra driven by a 90000 year old in a flat cap.. mutter mutter

2. When the accident rate drops because of the training they'll say 'Look Speed Camera's do reduce accidents. There has been a 33% reduction in accidents since x(where x was when they introduced the training).

It's a start mind.
