Question

Behind Ford! McCrae finished third compared to Burns fifth place! (LOL)

So where are Subaru in the driver's championship? Way behind Ford again (with only 2 points) where McCrae has double that (ner!).

And finally where are Subaru in the constructor's championship? You guessed it, behind Ford yet again!

We also kicked your butts yesterday with our best time of 13.06 compared to you 13.15!

Don't ya just love it when a plan comes together...
LOL

Cool

Yeah but you would expect that because Colin is driving a girly 4X4. Now if he had been in a RWD mans car he might be leading the Championship

PS isn't KANKKUNEN above McRae and isn't there is only one point between Ford and Subaru???

The WRC is a marathon not a sprint , unlike Drag Action

Also Subaru have got 3 cars to the finish of the 2 Rallies whereas Ford as only managed 2 so working on the law of averages McRae won't be in front for very much longer.

Very true McRae did beat a Subaru in his Ford but wasnt that his first finish in 10 races! Maybe Ford's have reliability problems but then of course you wouldnt know anything about bits breaking at inopportune moments would you !

Let's hope the Focus actually puts up a challenge this year.

Seriously.

Let's face it Ford have got the best driver and aren't short of a bob or two....and their "no.2" driver aint too bad. So....if McRae doesn't get pi$$ed off and jack it all in then it should get interesting. And McRae has his worst event out of the way.
I was at Karlstad to see McRae on the podium for 3rd place....he didn't look very chuffed !!

Has Mr McRae ever won any prizes in the 'looking chuffed championships?'

I think you'll find as usual that the tyres made the biggest difference in performance.

Just wait until the gravel events start, when the Pirelli's have traditionally had an advantage over the Michelins.

Anyway, just ask Mr McRae and Mr Grist what their road cars are

Ford (and others) with michelin tires will be often in front of Subaru with pirelli tires!!!
Ford has the intelligence to get a good tire manufacturer...

Hope the futur will prove me I'm wrong

Nevermind Ford, Subaru, Peugeot, Hyundia or Seat. Makinen has won the drivers title for the last 4 years in a Mitsubishi, which is still a group A car.

I guess this means that Lancer Evo drivers are closer to the real thing given the Subaru is a WRC car.

Neil,
Yeah, but I'm sure he's got a good excuse (he normally has!). Oh well can't win 'em all (one would be nice though... )

Of course he's got a good excuse, he got a little water in the air intake and drowned the engine.

Only a Ford with Colin at the wheel could get waterlogged on the Safari Rally.

Josh

PS Did you hear Nicky Grist, on Eurosport last night, having a go at the impatient Mr McRae. He! He! He!

I would love to see Burnsie and Col neck and neck on points, going into the RAC at the end of the season.

Just to see who is the best.

Have a good un at Donno, hope it stays dry for you.

I'm hoping to get across to see you and Stef on track.
