Hi,
Just a query on the MY03 WRX interior. I have provisionally ordered a euro import from a local trader but im a little unsure of what the standard spec interior is.
I have looked at a couple of MY02 bug eye scoobs and they had bucket seats in the front & having seen a lot of pics of the new MY03 i was under the impression that it too had bucket seats in the front.
Tonight i bought the new auto express with the MY03 preview in and the car appears to have just sports seats they are no longer bucket seats!!!
Has the spec changed since early preview pics???? i can find no mention of seat options on the subaru website bar leather.
Can anyone give me some more info on this matter?
Regards,
Andy.

depends on what country you order from as to how much they charge.
UK, sports or bucket seats are a no cost option you choose when ordering.
in Benelux the bucket seats "used" to be cheaper as they did not have side airbags. Now the side airbags are in the door they will probably charge the same. you specify when you order.
My advise is, if you are on the "portly" side then check the seats with a test "sitting" ??. A fat git of a friend of mine has real trouble with his bucket seats in his golf.

I've just received a quote from Gertjan for a MY03 WRX (he's just got word on the Dutch prices for MY03 models).
In Holland you can order bucket seats (no airbags); OR the newer sports seats (with airbags)for an extra 385 euros excluding vat.
Does anyone know for sure if the side airbags are fitted to the doors? If they are then why can't I have airbags with the bucket seats?
I like the bucket seats but would prefer to have side airbags too. Anyone got any thoughts on the sports seats? Are they any good?
Cheers
Paul
