Well just got back from s/pod, horrible cold damp day, finally got on the strip about 12.30/1.00 then we could only run the the first 1/8 mile........anyway, lined up against an sti wagon standard, im de/catted, panel filter,(typeR) off we go!, after what can only be descibed as the worst start ever(excuse i know) i got spanked, round 2.......full strip this time, up against me mate Rich in his P1 totally standard car this, another dubious start(another excuse), completely spanked me again, ok so by 1/2 a car length, but on the strip thats miles......fair play to both the wagon(sorry didnt get your name) and the "PODMEISTER" Rich300uk, ok i did win one, but not really a competetion against a standard 1.6i civic, but still "I WON"..Seriously though Rich's P1 is Awesome, it just seems to launch into a gut wrenching, eyeball straining, speed. Imagine if he decides to mod it....................

must admit, I was getting really bad times compared to usual(STI 5). Just couldn't get the start right(too damp). Ended up getting 13.2(best) as opposed to 12.6 last time. I'll be back soon for another go.

The Black Wagon was my Dad. He was also getting slower times than usual.

Did anyone get any good times?

A mate let me run his GTiR(1 bar) and I managed a 13.2 at about 105(not sure exactly).Not my best but considering I've not driven one for 6 months and it was wet it wasn't bad.Think it was on of the quicker times of the day as everyone seemed to suffering from wheelspin(even the big power Skyline was only getting around 12.6).Saw a nice RB5 consistantly launch well.And that Starlet turbo...mad.

as mad stated track was crap and very slippery at start...my best was 13.6...just couldn't get the starts right and was only reving to about three thousand as any more would just spin the wheels........oh for a dry day next time

Damn good day thou was surprised at how the supras & skylines werent getting any times 2 pi$$ on the scoobs but as already said dont think the track was ideal 4 a supreme run but was nice 2 c the scoobs holding their own
Will also try & get pix & possibly even footage up here at sum point

i was there suffered terrible spinning at the start, only revved to 3k put as soon as i nailed it it span like mad, was fun though, nice to see so many scoobs, with some very impressive times, shame mine went from 13.4 to 13.6 to 13.7 weird huh, surely i should get better as i got along lol

That was me, seemed like a good idea at the time, but i have just got in from hosing it down, mud bloody everywhere,
One of the blokes videoing was my mate, but dont know hw to put on here

I went a couple of times but i just kept spinning in 1st and 2nd off the line so for some reason was only getting 13.6's, not good cant wait fo the drier weather to have another go.

Been there are few times, but this was the first time that I ran.

I just couldnt put the power down, which was no surprise as even the scoob's, EVO's and skybus (sorry skyliner )

got to say,that BLUE R34 GTR WAS THE BOY FOR ME, ONE GORGEOUS MOTOR, HOW LOUD WAS THAT DRAGSTER!!! YOU COULD STILL HERE HIM AFTER HE WAS OUT OF SIGHT!! AMAZING, SCOOBYS HELD THEIR OWN TODAY, EVOS OUT THE PICTURE, LIKE OUT THE WRC LOL!!!
