I always find parking in the heart of "Gay Village" works a treat for the obvious reasons
, and BTW this is a serious statement
Also, the MEN parking is ridiculously tight, especially the ramps to the next levels, hated it with our old fester so would probably be a nightmare with a 4 door saloon.

Thanx everyone the car park recommended by Terzo sounds good, anyone else used it before?
Also if I do go for the MEN car park, does anyone know if it has security guards and/or cameras?
Cheers

If you are going to a concert be very wary of all the MEN parking signs directing you to other (dodgy) car parks.
A friend who we meet there parked under a railway bridge round the corner and when he got back to his car a window had been smashed and his cd's and golf clubs from the boot had been stolen, he saw 6 other cars in that car park with broken windows as well.
I parked in the MEN car park it was a nightmare to get out of afterwards (traffic). but didnt have any problems it is well lit and patrolled by security guards. when we left there was a bevy of policemen directing traffic and "doing" people who had been drinking.
I wouldnt go anywhere else but the MEN car park park in a well visible area (by the doors ect). and get somewhere to see you by the kerbs ect.

The MEN carpark is safe but it will take you hours to get out if your going to see someone at the MEN! There are loads of NCP carpark which are safe.
I use them all the time.
If you want good directions mail me.

I wouldn't park it in Manchester ever. Look at it this way the excess you would pay should it get knicked or broken into would pay for alternative transport
