I have taken a load of pictures of the black WRX demonstrator and had a good look at the WR Blue STI.
Could not believe it the STI has not got the rear window wiper.
Also the WRX has no side skirts, not to bad in black but on a white one it will still be a black sill.
any one interested in seeing the black wrx pictures?
Oh by the way the service was crap from the new sales persons!

Even better than that......they wanted to talk figures with me before I was allowed to book a test drive in the STi. I told them "whats to talk about, we know it costs £24995". I even turned up in the 22B to give them a hint I was serious. Needless to say, haven't booked a test drive yet (being soooooo impressed by the attitude) but may do if the demonstrator car gets to 1000 miles as would be unable to hoof it. To quote the salesman "you won't be able to go over 3000rpm until its had its 1000 miles oil change because we have had cars blow up"

Mixed feelings about the wiper myself. I was rather surprised when I noticed, but as the wiper motor on my P1 was mounted quite low, it used to get in the way. Consequently, it's quite nice to be able to stuff things in the boot without worrying about it.

I had a similar experience last year - getting a test drive in the '01 STI was tricky. I was particularly surprised because Adams happily bundled me into a MY96 turbo when I first enquired about buying an Impreza 3 years ago, and I've been a good customer of theirs since.
Oh well, SGT in Taplow and Lancasters of Pangbourne aren't too far away - time for a change, perhaps?

Glad it was not just me at Adams Aylesbury
I met vague and dim in a blue subaru coat and sharp dressed suit.
Who’s charm left me for dead, said he came from Renault garage
best he goes back there.
I went there some time ago and the new car sales manager was tops, how things change, sod um I gona buy an import!
By the way, said they could not do a test drive that day cos' they were under staffed, I looked back in the window and there was three of them chatting about being under staffed and doing naff all else.

I had a good look at the STi 8 last Sunday. Simon & the other guy (sorry don't know your name
) were very helpfull as usual.
I had a drive in their new STi 7, which they brought over from their MK branch specialy, a few weeks ago to get the feel of how the newer shape handles (I have a clasic
) and have been promised a drive in the 8 as soon as its run in.
As I've said a number of times Adams arn't the cheepest but the service is always top class.

AJAX
Ajax was the son of Telamon. He was a Trojan War hero on the side of the Greeks who thought he deserved the armor of the fallen Achilles and went mad when it was awarded to Odysseus, instead.
sorry, not a god but a hero

If was honest with you id say Attu was just a stupid name plucked out of no where when i was signing up for a Email account a few years ago ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
But i did a search on Google and found this http://www.pacificwrecks.com/provinces/alaska_attu.html
But it would sound better if i said i used the name from an Alaskan island![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
