Interested to see what other owners have seen from a full tank of petrol.

 

Not managed to get through a whole tank without topping up yet. But if the P1 was anything to go by, I'd enjoy the comparative economy of the running-in period while it lasts.

Running in 25-30mpg

After 18-22mpg

 

3 tanks later

219 miles ave
20.8 miles to the gallon

 

not far off was I

 

220 seems to be my avg.

Full tank of Optimax at the weekend....M3, M25, M1 (with a short stop off in Milton Keynes for the "first STI8 Owners Meet" , then upto Leeds...home...then to the office and back....263....red light was on and I was was running on vapour??!!

Theres a 1st time for everything...and also a last...as it gets its 1st 1000 service on Saturday (fingers crossed and presuming Chiark brings it back in one piece having had the car all day today) I guess I won't be seeing the same figures again in the future...

What the hell are/were you running it on...I never managed anything close to that in mine *LMAO*

Used to get 250/260 but that was the max and running on fumes *G*

 

Message for Rum - driving back from crewe M6, then cut through onto A14 to Essex.. and Yes needle was right over...
