Morning all,
I am handing over my STI7 Prodrive Style PPP to its new owner on Saturday and need/could do with someone to assistance.
Basically the STI7 is presently at Crossroads Garage, Shipston on Stour (Tredington), in Warwickshire. I plan to drive down from Leeds early (circa 06.30!!) to get to the garage so that they can give my new STI8 its 1st service.
I then need to get the STI7 down to its new owner in Essex for circa 13.00 - 14.00. Once handed over I will be driving straight back to Leeds via wherever else I need to go....with possible a stop over briefly to see Dave T-S (but he doesn't know that yet??!!)...
So basically I'm looking for someone either up here in Leeds or local to Tredington to assist. If from Leeds, we'll drive down early to Crossroads and then take both cars to Essex before returning home...
...if from local area to Tredington, then you meet at the garage and then as above...however I will then obviously drop you back at the garage to pick your car up...
Any offers...if so please email me on tom@subaru-insured.co.uk asap....
Alas I'm clever...but not clerver enough to drive 2 cars at the same time..
Cheers
Rum* (aka Tom??!!)
(Mods, please move once its had a little time for folk to view it...ta )

LMAO@ Dave....tell you what....we should have come your way on Sat!! ....we tried to get up to TSL and it all went pearshaped 2 mins onto the M1...mega crash and ended up stuck in traffic for at least an hour....to make it worse when we finally got off the motorway and headed towards St Albans we found the traffic was still bad....and being a wise northern monkey with a southern shandy drinking softy as a passenger we decided to head home...as we were south of the M25 we decided to hop back onto the M1 to go up a junction to the M1....DOH!!! Same bl@@dy traffic jam and no turn off going north bound....so...yup...you guessed....we ended up back in the same traffic jam that we'd started in....only 2 miles further south!!!!....Not a good afternoon *LMAO*....
....the moral is...once a plan is made....stick to it
Hopefully see you for a coffee on Sat...as I will be just down the road at Copford/Colchester

Don't worry, not losing my touch,I don't do deposits on *anything* unless my life depends on it
Colin
Maybe a new Tuscan S, but the local dealer doesn't want to do any warranty work if I buy it elsewhere, so may give it a miss. Making myself a nuisance at the factory over it in the meantime

Dave,
Had to read that a couple of times....at first I thought you'd put
..."unless my wife depends on it"... and then realised that that couldn't be right *LMAO*
Transport all ready for Sat now...will possibly call by with Matt for a quick brew after I've picked up my cheque

Dave no deposit no kitchen.
Its called "Terms and conditions" and if you are a reputable Company you should have them
They protect me and you.
Thats a bit like saying to Tom I dont pay for my insurance unless I smash my car up LOL.
P.S. Tom make sure he cuts the fat off.

The pic below was the main road out of our village to Stansted/the M11 at around 11am this morning .....snow plough, what snow plough
Came out first of all at 06:15, went 1/2 mile, met the milkman stuck fast blocking the road, spent 20 mins helping him dig it out, got 100 yards further on and two foot deep snowdrifts........as 17 miles to go to get the train decided we were going nowhere and turned round.....
