Hi All

We have moved scoobynet forums to a brand new server.

Everything else (email, chat, shop, etc) are still temporarily held on the old server. Over the next couple of weeks we will move the rest over.

There are likely to be odd problems here and there but the overall performance should be substantially improved and more stable.

If you spot a problem, please let us know in the bugs forum.

The biggest news...

Is that we now have a solid search engine. You can now search on words of 3 characters and up (rather than 4 as before) and can search on the entire thread body as oposed to just the titles. Sorry this has been so long coming, we wanted to wait until we moved to the new server.

All the best

Simon

Actually...

Out of interest could you let us know if you had to go through www2.scoobynet.co.uk or if www.scoobynet.co.uk worked straight off for you?

cheers

Simon

Cool

Looks OK - but for info, www.scoobynet shows the DNS message that you've put up at the mo for me.

I'll re-post tomorrow if this is still the case or not.

I had to go in through www2 - I use the BT Openworld business service.

For what it's worth, I got straight in just now going through VPN to my company network (so different DNS etc.)

Fast as a Scooby in the twisties now

FWIW, if you go to www2, you will need to login again as the cookie will refer to www still and hence not be used.
