i've seen a kit for sale on here for aroun £400 notes...
it was made by another company, but exact replacement item.
once fitted it needed charging (or something
) which was around £80
fitting i think was 100? or somewhere close...

Right the things to make sure get with the Air con kit second-hand are as follows.
Pump,Belt and mounting bracket and Belt cover, Reciver-dryier, Aircon rad, second fan, pipework, internal Matrix housing including matrix and drain pipe and big oval bulkhead gromet, switch for dash board and the relays 5 on pre my97 cars,
Also all pre my97 use the banned R12 gas and you should get a conversion kit to change it to R134a which IIrc is about £200+
but you can find people with R12 gas
if you ask nicely
and theyt will need to put some pump oil in as well.
And once you have all the bits it's a pice of pi$$ to fit
Warning make sure the pump bearings are good and they don't rumble when you spin it up by hand and there is no rust in the inlet and outlet on the pump also you should buy a new Reciver dryier and there are different Scoob types 2pin plugs and 4 pin plugs
If you want more info mail me as per profile as I have been there and brought the T Shirt![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
