Iv'e recently just tried RedX injector cleaner/booster, all I can say is dont bother.
It probably used at least 10% more fuel from a full tank, and didnt make the bitch any faster or feel any different after.
Prehaps only use the RedX if you feeel you need to give your bitch a regular clean and soak.
Other wise dont bother, there is probably other other ways of getting from 95ron to 98ron with other stuff. Let me know what you find out.
You could always try Super UL, I've not tried a full tank yet, but will let you know how it is, it is supposed to be quicker on SUL/optimax.........

Anybody,
What's the low-down on octane boosters. Have seen in some mags that they should not be used as there is too high a lead content in them. Is this true? Can I use it regularly in my STi version 5 with optimax or not? If yes, which do you recommend?
Thanks
Tony

The RedX cleaner stuff I actually found made my old Corsa 1.4i smoother and maybe (no quantitative measurements, just from feel - could be the placibo effect though) a little faster.
I didn't think additives, or fuel, was allowed lead in it nowadays. At all. vis-a-vis unleaded petrol, lrp, etc...

I've just started using NF Race brought from Steve at Nitrous Formula (steve@Nitrousformula.co.uk). Pleased with the results so far ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I can only run mine on normal unleaded cause the company pays for it, hence the need to give it an extra kick
