For those of you in the dark to the comments above :
Lance Armstong was a very good professional cyclist who won some important single day races. A few years ago he got testicaluar cancer and was not given a great chance of living let alone riding the bike. He had some very unpleasent treatment but recovered. He came back WAY better than before and has now won the Tour De france 4 times and can be counted as one of the greatest cyclists to have ever lived. He is a living miracle.

He might be the greatest. Guys have won more tours than him but not after what he's been through. And he ain't done yet. One of my big heros.
Slightly OT I followed his early career before he was well known and in one magazine they hooked him to one of these performance monitoring machines. As you all know, if you exercise hard enough the muscles fill up with stuff called lactic acid and you just can't do anymore, with good athletes it just takes longer. With Lance it never happens, he is cycling's duracell bunny. They reckon one in a billion people are made this way.

However, there`s been a bit of bad press a while ago about one of his coaches being linked to doping allegations.
Mind, I still think Armstrong`s did fantastic after what he`s been through.

Thought some of the keen cyclists out there may be interested in this bit of news from Cyclingnews.com:
Lance Armstrong has landed another lucrative endorsement deal, signed by auto maker Subaru for a five-year worth an estimated $12 million. USA Today reports that beginning in April Armstrong will appear in a series of television commercials, based on the company's new slogan: driven by what's inside. The new ad deal follows Armstrong's other major endorsements, including Coca-Cola, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Nike, and of course the U.S. Postal Service.
