Thanks to Cutlers after some ***t tried to nick my car
#1
Got a call to my hotel room at 1.45am Monday morning to say that someone had tries to steal my car and the police would like to talk to me.
The ***** obviously had no idea what they were doing, it had to be the worlds greatest **** up on how to steal a car.
Without saying and giving any ideas to some other scowte how to nick a car they did over £700 worth of damage.
Whilst trying to find the hotel that I was staying at over the weekend we happened to pass Cutlers which turned out to be a right bit of luck.
After speaking to the police made arranagements for the AA to relay the car to Cutlers of the off chance that they may be able to repair the car at no notice and have it finnished by the end of the day.
Well they could not have been more friendly and even loaned me a car for the day to get back and forth to the NEC Birmingham.
Once again many thanks to Cutlers of Streetly but if I ever get my hands on the *******s I will thanks them in a very different manner.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but glad that you were lucky to get a repair done in a convenient manner

David as you know I have had my fair share of people trying to nick my cars and am now fed up to the back teeth. The police were freindly but had to admit they had little if any chance of finding them.I asked them if before I removed the car if they needed to fingerprint it and they said it is not something they bother to do now as it is not worth the effort involved.
I'm sure if they were caught they would be given a holiday in the Bahamas as a form of therapy,or given phycho analysis to find where in their past it all went wrong.

Sorry to hear this.
If the Police do not fingerprint your car then how the hell can they catch the ***** who tried to knick it - not having a go at the Police just what a sad state of affiars.
This really sends out the right message.
We need more Police on the ground, doing their jobs - thats what we pay our taxes for!

Sorry but I am having a go at the police, I have a friend who is a mr police man and his view is, buy a less apealing car, at home a good bloke, on the job they dont care unless you are caught speeding that is.
I think I'll quit my job and become a cool car thief like on the films, they seem to have all the fun, but no payback!!!!!
