Hi guys and gals,
My JDM STi-7 has to have the wheel hub replaced (<--- Thing that the rim bolts to). I brought the hub in from Japan but now they say I need to replace the bearing as well. I can get a new 2002 WRX wheel bearing (USA Spec).
Does anyone know if the new age bug eyes bearings are the same for the STI as the WRX ? and better yet if the USA WRX is the same as the JDM STi-7 bearing. The wheel hub was the same part# both for the USA WRX and the JDM STi-7 so I am wondering if the bearing is the same. No need to upgrade the bearing on the STI eh ?
Cheers,
Ray

SammyH,
Unfortunately they have never changed a wheel bearing on the STi-7, well at least Pete has not. Any other service shops out there can help with what I thought was a simple question.
Cheers,
Ray

In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem. If no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire: THE A-TEAM. ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Try sending a mail to the parts department at Cheam Motors, however be warned, if you do phone them up and speak to Jim, he will probably sell you an STi 8 in a box

And failing that, you can speak to Dave Medcalf (posts here as Shark) at Lavender Hill Garage on 0044 20 8363 3456 or on sales@lavenderhillgarage.co.uk.
