I just thought I would check out an online quote with Elephant for my new STi 8, and was amazed that they beat my existing company Privilege who currently are going to charge me £700 with a £500 excess whilst Elephant only want £625, this is with protected no claims as well
and an excess of only £250

Was that a full quote or a quick quote, as the they are usually two very different things when using elephant. Every time I have used the quick quote it looks good, until you do a full quote and the price will leap 30%............

Regacy you couldn't be more wrong. I just phoned them and went through the whole quote with a guy and got it even cheaper
Dr Evil I am 30, car is garaged and I only do 8k a year.
Here are the benefits
£611 Fully Comp + Protected No Claims
My Partner is on the policy as well (She's 26)
I don't need a tracker on the car so I will just cancel the subscription next year as it comes free with the car for the first year.
If I register the car with the PPP on it then the policy is the same price as it is a Subaru approved upgrade.
I wish I had gone to them first, can't wait for the car to arrive now
