I have looked on iwoc and sidc but what i need to know is what is the difference between V3 and V4 type r's and are they different to look at?

The most obvious sign that its a version 4 over a 3 is it should have the later style dash in with the small openable pod in the centre of the dash. I think version 4's should also have the 3 piece splitter on the front bumper.
Not too clued up on engine differences though.

So if its got old dash its defo a V3 is that right?...

Unless anyone out there knows of some early V4's with V3 dash?!
