Me, just past the magic 100k, still going strong no probs, service it myself to keep cost down.Had it on the rollers recently 230 bhp 205 ft/lb torque not bad for near standard (22bhp up on standard) MY96 uk turbo (bb & straight through centre, panel filter, forge D/V)
The only things I have replaced are header tank broke plastic one
+ excuse to get nice shiny forge one.
Clutch, tyres, battery + servicing bits, but thats wear and tear!

103,000 - MY94 UK Turbo with SS Backbox + K&N Panel Filter standard otherwise.
Serviced by myself, keep on top of any little problems and it's still going really strong.......
As long as they've been looked after, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one with 100,000 on the clock.

MY96 JDM WRX Wagon...curently at 96,637 but does about 5-600 miles a week..so in 6-8 weeks will be there. Did 40,000 miles in it last year and not one problem..don't drive it slowly either, just done its first airfield day..starts and goes like a dream.

Mike,
It's on the original engine and turbo. Major bills have been...
1 x new clutch
1 x new water pump
2 x cam sensor
Only mods are MY00 seats, MY99 wheels and a Powerflow de-cat center and back box.
Still goes great. No smoke, but a small leak from the PAS and a small oil leak from somewhere.
Oh, and the heat shield is a bit rattley...

Could I have special membership please....97,800 miles on a MY00 V reg Prodrive saloon, but unless I do 2200 miles in the next two weeks (which is possible), she will be changed for a MY03 STi before I get to the magic 100,000

That's great news! I've been getting so worried about my big miles, 12,800 in 4 months, that I've been driving the other half's Sport (MY98) and to be honest (after having Powerstation sort my geometry and new springs on the WRX) it's so boring to drive, slow, lack of feedback and average turn in/handling I can't stand it so I'll get back in to my WRX and enjoy racking up those miles!
Question is, is it worth doing anything to improve the Sport's handling?
:-)

They get faster with age, honestly.
My old wagon has about 120K on it now (was 110 when I sold it)
and at a recent rolling road day it had 241 bhp with 225lbs torque. Its just got a Scooby sport full exhaust and an ITG panel filter. It was 20 bhp up on a PPP'd MY00 with a decat also ,
and it still drives spot on with original gearbox, engine and turbo.
