So if it wasn't a race what was so funny, I don't get it?
If I was the guy in the Ferrari I'd be laughing at the two sad blokes trying to race me in their Subaru while I just cruised along.
Sorry if that sounded harsh maybe you missed something out in your post, that vital something that would make it funny.

Not far off 400 either... Has had a few mods since well lanes power figure of 340..
Gets more torque steer sort of feel, squirm across the road now

Well, all i can say is if he wanted you you'd have had it !!
Going south the other w/e went to pull into outside lane saw lights in rvm, they then flashed me to let me out Ferrari 360 - good !!
floored it through fourth and then fifth - so you know what speed that was ...... and then i pulled over and he just blipped the
throttle and ........left me for dust !!!!!
AWESOME.... gotta keep saving !!

360 is faster, having more power for a start.
Also the 355 spider gives away some 80kg in weight I think, it's kerb weight is 1350kg, more than a classic wagon.
355 is 380hp.
Stevens car was measured at 340 ish, but has since had further work = more power. A little more powerful than an RB5...
I suspect the Ferrari driver though he didn't need to change down a gear who knows.

I think Ferrari's are fair game I mean they pay North of £80k and we pay South of £25k.
Performance once tweaked in a Scoob is surprisingly good vs a Ferrari.
And if a Ferrari enthusiast wants more (and you can have more just ask the F1 team at Fiorino) they can have it but a sports exhaust will cost £6000 oh they do engine mods too.
So in standard guise go out and enjoy, if you come across a modded one (few and far between) you will be wiped clean. And then there are those with the F40's, 288 Gto's, F50's and F60's.
I have followed a couple of Ferrari's and have been disappointed that they didn't give it more, or they were in the retired age bracket and hadn't taken the Ferrari Drivers Course.
Still, coming up behind one of these things and teasing the occupants inside, gives me a warm sensation, usially complimented with an adrenalin shot and shaky left foot (does this happen to anyone else?).
And with the warmer climes, they'll be more of them....
