Ok I have now got the insurance quote sorted and have decided to go ahead and find me one of these cars.
Does anyone know where would be the best place apart from autotrader to start looking?

I have about £13000 for one.

also little question but what boost does it run instandard form?
I have seen lots of people running around 1-1.2 bar which for a standard turbo seems quite a lot to me - but then again i don't know much about Imprezas yet

thanks for any help

Personally I find Warrenders really overpriced.

Dale go for it mate these cars are the dogs b0ll0xs,

A bit expensive to run but the feel good factor of owning one far outstrips the expense.
Make sure you get one with a bit of history as a bit of self esurance , also make sure that you run it at a minimum of SUL or Optimax and Octane Booster as these cars were meant to run on 100RON pertol in Japan.
What colour are u thinking of getting? (get cool grey best colour IMHO)

Mel.

p.s i see you from london where abouts?
i'm from the Enfield region.

I bought a WRX Type R V limited From Warrenders

27,000 miles 2 owner some history

2 door in Blue was £13K have never looked back ( i do however find out how much the cambelt service costs tonight!)

Found Simon at Warrenders to be really helpful, let me go out in all the cars i liked by myself so no pressure or hassle, he even got me and extra Cobra alarm fob for free, and any niggles i had he sorted without any arguements, maybe over priced by some peoples veiw but i didn't get any greif, that has to be worth something.

If you type in "it's a very fast world" you will find the website with stock

Cheers

Ray

thanks for the help guys,

the one I went to look at today was in blue and had 38k on the clock with FSH owned by a doctor!
He was really helpful and showed me every reciept and service that has been done since he owned it. the thing was imaculate apart from a couple of stone chips and a very tiny scuff down the drivers side. Drove well and sounded fantastic.
Does anyone recomend an exhaust for these cars as i couldn't see the make of this one and it just didn't really take my fancy (rolled lip and I prefer a straight cut one)

thanks peeps

p.s. Hey Mel, i'm not actually from London but a little way out in the country so I put London as I work there and everyone knows where London is lol take care
