Just wondering what the best 1/4 mile time a scooby has achieved.

What model?

BHP?

Thanks in advance

38.8 seconds @ 43mph terminal speed, and still accelerating hard!

Allegro Van_den_plas, 20psi front tyres, 44psi rears, turbo twister anodised blue tail trim

Hoping to drop into the low 30's with wipers removed and T cut paintwork for aerodynamics.

Never really done a timed qtr mile but...

Its 112.6 miles to the office and it takes me 1hr 17mins on a good run. So...

112.6miles / 77 minutes = 1.46 miles per minute
(60 secs / 1.46 miles)x .25 (to give a qtr mile figure) = 10.27s

10.27 seconds for the qtr mile. Not bad for a WRX PPP MY01!

Mak.

(Edited to add that the whole journey is of course run on totally private roads.)

Hihi;

I'm from Singapore,i would like to contribute.using gtech pro,0-60mph in 6.1sec-6.2sec quarter mile 14.7sec-14.9se terminal speed 99mph based on sti7 (same as type uk)Timimg based on two stock standard sti 7 two difference driver.

yup.........it's far from manufacturer claim of 5.5sec 0-60mph & 13.9sec for 1/4mile.probably due to the hot weather here but than again a JDM ra sti7 as well as evo7 both achieve 13.9sec stock standard!

disappointment huh......

12.85 secs@108mph at Santapod.

...with only 1 bar and only "290bhp" (setup correctly!)......... but its a "cheap" GtiR..... and yes it is reliable, but not if I keep trying for those times!

Exclamation

My STi7UK PPP'd 300 bhp did at Santa pod a lowly 14.1 secs 98mph was a bit damp though. A tad disappointing really must be the rolling road theory
